Privacy when you reserve a Tennessee balloon trip by form
What the office collects, why, and how to reach it about your information.
Version and words used here
This is version 1 of the notice, in force from October 24, 2026. "Personal information" means anything that identifies you or could reasonably be tied to you: your name, your email address, your phone number. "Supplier" means a balloon company or a lodging that a quote names.
Scope of this privacy notice
This notice explains what Tennessee Balloon Rides LLC, doing business as Tennessee Balloon Rides, collects through this website and through trip requests, what it does with that information, and how to reach the office about it. Questions go to privacy-asks@tennesseeballoonrides.com or to 1200 SW 145th Ave, Suite 330, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027.
Every box on the trip form
The trip request form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, optional home city, the number of nights, the lodging town, the month, the time of flight you prefer, the number of people flying, the kind of lodging you like and a free-text note. The office uses these answers to ask balloon companies and lodgings for space and to send you a quote. The form also records whether you checked the call or text box, the time you sent it, the page you sent it from and, on a trip page, which trip you were reading, so the quote can start from that trip.
The form does not ask for a date of birth, an identity document, card or bank details or anything about health. Please do not write any of these in the note. If a balloon company needs something about each flyer before it can confirm a flight, the company asks you for it directly.
How the form is delivered
Form submissions are delivered to the office's inbox by an email forwarding service that acts only on the office's instructions. The office keeps a request and the quote that answers it for three years after the trip date, or for three years after the quote if no trip was reserved, so that a question about a reservation can still be answered, and then deletes them.
Balloon companies and lodgings that see your name
When you ask for a quote, the office passes the details needed for that quote to the balloon companies and lodgings it asks: the dates, the lodging town, the number of people and your name. When you reserve, the supplier receives what it needs to confirm and run its part of the trip. The office may also share information with its own accountant or other professional advisers when they need it to advise the office, with a public authority when a valid legal process requires it, and with a buyer if the business is ever sold, who would then be bound by this notice. The office does not sell personal information, does not share it for advertising across other businesses, and does not rent its list to anyone.
Why the office uses your information
To answer your request and prepare a quote; to make and look after a reservation you accept; to keep the records Florida and federal law require of a business; and to defend or exercise its legal rights. Information is kept in the United States.
Calls and texts
The office calls or texts you only about your own request and only if you check the box on the form that asks for it. You can get a quote without checking the box. You can withdraw that permission at any time by replying STOP to a text or by writing to privacy-asks@tennesseeballoonrides.com; the office then answers by email only.
Cookies, storage and measurement
This website sets no cookies, and your browser holds nothing from it. It loads no outside scripts, fonts or trackers; everything it shows is served from its own address. The hosting provider keeps ordinary server records, such as the address a request came from and the page asked for, for a short time to keep the website running and secure.
If the office starts to advertise this website online, an advertising service may measure whether a visit came from an advertisement. Before that happens, this notice will describe the measurement, say what it collects and explain how to turn it off.
Asking for your information back
You may ask the office for a copy of what it keeps on you, ask it to correct something, or ask it to delete your request and quote, by writing to privacy-asks@tennesseeballoonrides.com. The office answers within 30 days and may ask you to confirm the email address the request came from. Someone you authorize may make the request for you with your signed permission. The office gives the same answer to every person who asks, wherever they live.
People under 16
This website is meant for adults planning a trip. The office does not knowingly take information from anyone under 16, and deletes it if it learns that a person under 16 sent a request.
Security and notice of a breach
Requests reach the office over an encrypted connection and are kept in an inbox protected by two-step sign-in. If personal information the office holds is ever accessed without permission, the office will tell the people affected as Florida law requires.
Outside tools added later
If a search or reservation tool from an outside provider is added to this website, information you enter in that tool goes to the provider under its own privacy notice. This notice will be updated before the tool appears.
